March 2, 2022 is Ash Wednesday, a day for us to remember our mortality.
During Lent, we consider God’s refining work of grace in our lives. We are aware of how we have become separated from our own self, other people, and our Creator, by sin, and we receive Christ’s offer of forgiveness.
Lent is a time for repentance and meditation on the tremendous mystery of grace.
“God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
I love this photograph of the window in the sanctuary of St. Martin in the Field church in Trafalgar Square, London. It gives me a lot of think about. I’m curious how it speaks to you.
