What should we talk about?

Fun Facts about Dinosaurs, poetry, math that’s fun, drawing and painting, Christmas and Bible stories about Jesus, Advent calendar with the lego things, create a presentation about homeschooling, pray online games, Chinese checkers, chess - have Grandpa teach Joel his winning strategies, play card games, share some videos.

Friday, Dec. 11

Brainstormed what we might talk about | Played codenames | Asked each other questions about our families to get to know each other (talked about how asking questions is the key to having interesting conversations) | Shared some pictures of my family - Grandpa Ernie and me as a kid | read Luke 2:8-14 three times talking about what it would have been like to have been there, what is a manger? | looked at pictures of sheep | looked at my watercolor and talked about how Joel would like to draw the Luke 2 scene | Joel shared some fun facts about Spinosaurus, Carnotarus, the Sahara desert, how he would like be go to Africa and do an archeological dig. Joel will prepare to share 10 fun fact with me next time.

Tuesday, Dec. 15 Joel will share with me what he got in his Advent calendar and 10 fun facts about dinosaurs. We’ll draw some sheep and begin create the Luke 2 scene.
